<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape for bonding an air bag for an automobile that has a bonding force for folding a side air bag or a curtain air bag and mounting it to an automobile body and can break at the deployment operation, and to provide a bonding method of the air bag for the automobile using the adhesive tape. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive tape has an autohesion type adhesive layer on one surface of a woven cloth where raw thread whose warp raw thread is 25-150 deniers and weft raw thread is 100-200 deniers is arranged at longitudinal density of 100-250/inch (25.4mm) and lateral density of 20-100/inch (25.4mm). The autohesion type adhesive tape for bonding the air bag has longitudinal tensile strength in a breaking of 10-120N/25mm, elongation in breaking of 20% or lower, and lateral tearing strength of 20N or less. In this bonding method of the air bag, the autohesion type adhesive tape is wrapped around the air bag folded like bellows, both beginning and finishing ends of the wrap are overlapped in a shape of joining hands, and adhesive layers are adhered to each other and bonded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
