The toner is a magnetic one-component toner containing a binder resin and a magnetic material, having the product of coercive force (kA/m) and residual magnetization (Am<SP>2</SP>/kg) of 5-85 and a weight average particle diameter of 4-10μm, and including≤4% by volume of particles whose particle diameter is≥2 times the weight average particle diameter and≤35% by number of particles whose particle diameter is not greater than half of a length average particle diameter.
