NUMBER NOTIFICATION SYSTEM AND NUMBER NOTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology whereby a person can make a phone call (dialing) to an opposite party (called party) the telephone number of which the person does not know. SOLUTION: A call relaying apparatus 21 of a caller receives a number request from a communication apparatus 31 and transmits a first call to a number notice apparatus 22 to establish a speech path by the first call. Then the call relaying apparatus 21 of the caller transmits a destination identification number of an opposite party with which the caller desires to make a call to the number notice apparatus 22. The number notice apparatus 22 informs the call relaying apparatus 21 of the caller about a telephone number corresponding to the destination identification number. The call relaying apparatus 21 of the caller uses the telephone number and transmits a second call to a destination call relaying apparatus 23 of the called party to establish a speech path by the second call between the communication apparatus 31 of the caller and a communication apparatus 33 of the called party.
