PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of water failure, smell and unsanitary conditions in the effective utilization of rainwater. SOLUTION: In a treated water supply system for supplying a flush toilet or the like with rainwater from a water storage tank for storing rainwater, a stepped-up part is provided at one side upper part of the water storage tank, and the upper face of the stepped-up part is provided with a rainwater inflow port into the tank, and a cistern into which city water flows. A stepped-down reservoir part of rainwater is formed at the lower part of the water storage tank, and a city water supply pipe is piped between the bottom part of the cistern and the stepped-down reservoir part. Only when the rainwater in the water storage tank decreases to lower the water level in the stepped-down reservoir part down to a prescribed water level, required minimum city water is automatically supplied into the stepped-down reservoir part from the cistern by the opening operation of a lower ball tap of the supply pipe to continue to supply water to the flush toilet or the like.
