PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an industrial woven fabric useful for producing paper and a nonwoven fabric with a reed screen pattern. SOLUTION: In the industrial woven fabric for reed screen patterning of monolayer or multilayer structure, the industrial woven fabric for reed screen patterning comprises all the warps and wefts made of monofilaments of synthetic resin and has the diameters of the wefts at the surface side of at least 1.5 times-10 times as much as those of the warps at the surface side.
