PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cooker in which unnecessary power consumption is prevented even if the amount of a cooking object matter is small by accurately making a judgment on the amount of the cooking object matter even if the heating capacity of a heater varies. SOLUTION: A control device 10 for controlling the heating of a heater 3 upon receiving signals from a detecting part 9 for temperature inside a chamber has a storage device 10a for storing a cooking sequence and temperature raising time and a correction device 10b for correcting the detected temperature by the detecting part 9, and interrupts power supply to the heater 3 by making the judgment that the amount of the cooking object matter is small if the time required for raising the detected temperature by the detecting part 9 from the first prescribed temperature to a second prescribed temperature higher than a first prescribed temperature is shorter than the temperature raising time stored in the storage device 10a. Consequently, the automatic cooker curbs the influence caused by variation if the heating capacity of the heater varies, makes accurate the judgment on the weight of the object matter, and eliminates the unnecessary power consumption since the automatic cooker interrupts the power supply to the heater 3 when the amount of the cooking object matter is small.
