PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps plug of an endoscope capable of being attached to an treatment instrument insertion mouthpiece of the endoscope in a stable state and having the excellent operability by smoothly opening a slit formed in a closing film part with the treatment instrument even if the whole forceps plug is formed as an integrally molded article connected with an elastic rubber material. SOLUTION: In the forceps plug of the endoscope, the closing film part 15 in which the slit 15a to be elastically deformed and forced open by the inserted treatment instrument 50 and a treatment instrument insertion mouthpiece attaching part 14 detachably attached to the treatment instrument insertion mouthpiece 4 mounted at the entrance of a treatment instrument insertion channel 3 of the endoscope by the elastic deformation are integrally molded connected with the elastic rubber material. The surface of at least either the closing film part 15 or the treatment instrument insertion mouthpiece attaching part 14 is reformed so that the hardness of the surface of the closing film part 15 is lower than the hardness of the surface of the treatment instrument insertion mouthpiece attaching part 14.
