<p>The passive access and use monitoring system assesses the distance between the motor vehicle (1) and the identification transmitter key (3) via a communication channel (4). The motor vehicle (1) doors lock automatically as soon as the identification transmitter key (3) leaves the WAL- zone. By using the distance as a measure it is possible to achieve a good quality communication path, which is sufficient to transmit status information from the motor vehicle (1) to the identification transmitter key (3) e.g. light status e.g. is the light on or off, or is there a defective lamp, data from the board computer e.g. fuel level, data from the control units e.g. error codes, battery and safety status. Furthermore, the locking state is visualized on the identification transmitter key (3) by means of an energy efficient LED-display.</p> |
