<p>The invention relates to an installation that is characterised in that it consists essentially of at least three pumps (1, 2, 3) each comprising a frequency variator (4) that can vary the rotational speed of the pump motor, said pumps (1, 2, 3) being mounted in series and each pump (1, 2, 3) delivering into the same fluid supply line (5) in such a way as to function by accumulation of pressure. Said line (5) comprises a pressure sensor (6, 7) located respectively upstream of the second pump (2) and upstream of the third pump (3), the pressure sensor (6) arranged upstream of the second pump (2) acting on the two frequency variators (4) of the first and second pumps (1, 2) in order to reach or attempt to reach a pre-determined pressure at the outlet of the second pump (2) while the pump sensor (7) arranged upstream of the third pump (3) acts on the frequency variator (4) of said pump in order to maintain the output pressure of the third pump (3) at a pre-determined value.</p> |
