PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce external factors and raise the sensing sensitivity in a dishwasher which judges the amount of dishes according to the rate of the rise in the water temperature by heating the washing water with a heater.
SOLUTION: The quantity of heat generated of the heater is kept constant by the control of the electric energization of the heater with a triac to eliminate the factors for the fluctuation of the variations in the heater itself and the voltage of the power source. The rate of rise in the water temperature is increased by reducing the amount of the washing water during the detection for raising the sensing sensitivity. As a result, since the product of the voltage and current for the electric energization of the heater, namely, the input is controlled constant, the variations in the heater and the voltage are eliminated to leave the temperature alone within the washing tub as parameters in the threshold of the rate of rise in the water temperature determining the amount of the dishes, thereby facilitating the setting of the threshold. The judgment of the amount of the dishes which is conducted with the washing water set at the minimum washing water level achieves an increase in the rate of rise in the water temperature, thereby improving the temperature sensing sensitivity with a thermistor due to a larger temperature range in the sensing of the temperature.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
