<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harness protector which can protect a required part of a wire harness appropriately against external interference by altering the longitudinal dimension, and can protect the wire harness against damage due to rubbing against the end part of the protector. <P>SOLUTION: In the harness protector 10 where an injection molded female protector 12 and an extrusion molded male protector 34 are fitted and coupled each other, the female protector 12 is provided with a plurality of protrusions for sustaining both protectors 12 and 34 in fitted state, and a bracket 27 being secured to a body panel whereas the male protector 34 is provided with a plurality of holes engaging with the plurality of protrusions. A supporting wall for supporting a wire harness 70 under floating state is formed on the base wall 15 of a base 13. A rib 30 for retaining the wire harness 70 inserted into the base 13 is provided on the ceiling wall 29 of a cover 28 perpendicularly thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
