<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume-reducing packing device which always can surely perform a bag placing on an article to be packed regardless of the material or the thickness of a packing bag. <P>SOLUTION: A bag placing means has a bag-making mechanism, a pair of bag unsealing members, an opening stretching member, and a clamping mechanism. The bag-making mechanism feeds out a film material by a specified length from a rolled web which is wound under a state wherein confronted two side surfaces of the long cylindrical film material are folded inward to each other, cuts and bonds the film material, and makes the packing bag for which only one side section of the fed out distal end is opened. A pair of the bag unsealing members are inserted in respective inward folded sections constituting the two confronted side surfaces of the packing bag. The opening stretching member is inserted in the packing bag from the front side of the opened bag end section of the unsealed packing bag, and stretches the upper surface sheet of the opened bag end section upward, and the lower surface sheet downward. The clamping mechanism respectively clamps the stretched upper surface sheet and lower surface sheet of the opened bag end section, pulls out the packing bag under an opened state, and performs the bag placing for the article to be packed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
