PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system and a method for radio broadcast reception that can improve reception sensitivity by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The system and the method for radio broadcast reception are characterized in that when a state that a speed measuring instrument is held by a holding means is detected, a connection cord led out of a sensor is automatically switched from a first antenna provided to the speed measuring instrument to a second antenna for receiving radio broadcast.
