PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recognizing device capable of reducing the discomfort to be imparted to a user. SOLUTION: The speech recognizing device 10 transmits a control command for returning the operating state of an in-vehicle apparatus of an in-vehicle system 20 starting the execution of the function to the operating state before the execution to an operation processing section 50 when the operation processing section 50 receiving the control command outputted by the speech recognizing device 10 detects the input operation of an operation switch 30 within the prescribed time after the start of the function of the in-vehicle apparatus. As a result, the operating state of the in-vehicle apparatus can be returned to the original operating state of the in-vehicle apparatus by the operation processing section 50 and therefore even if the operation contrary to the user's will is executed, the discomfort to be imparted to the user can be reduced.
