PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label made of a synthetic resin film and having texture feeling of Japanese paper or cloth in appearance. SOLUTION: The label is so constituted that: a surface pattern print layer 3 and a rear face pattern print layer 4 on which a plurality of fiber shape patterns 31, 41 are printed are formed on the surface and rear face 2a, 2b of a transparent synthetic resin film layer 2; patterns are printed on the surface pattern print layer 3 and the rear face pattern print layer 4 in such a manner that a part of the plurality of fiber shaped patterns 31, 41 intersects with each other; a design print layer 7 is formed on the surface 3a of the surface pattern print layer 3; and a matte layer 8 is formed on the surface 7a of the design print layer 7.
