PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleansing agent that can simply and easily ameliorate in a short period, skin darkening, discoloration of the skin caused by cosmetics and skin blackening caused by sunburning, all of which cannot be removed with cleansing soap, a packing agent and a keratin removing agent. SOLUTION: This cleansing agent comprises a resin emulsion that has a particle size of≤0.10μm and a film-forming temperature of 0°C to 10°C and comprises one or two or more kinds of resin-curing accelerators and one or two or more kinds of resin-curing retarders. The resin-curing accelerators are needed by 1 to 10 % of the resin weight, while the resin-curing retarders are needed by 2 to 20 % of the resin weight. The retarders increase the cleansing effect when used in combination with a polyhydric alcohol. The cleansing agent is applied to a body part that is wanted to be cleansed once a day and the formed resin film is peeled off at 4 to 5 minutes after application whereby the dirty on the skin is removed together with the resin film peeled.
