An anti-implosion band for television tubes comprises at least one strip (2) of material with predetermined width and cross-section, shaped in a closed loop along its main extension path. The strip (2) has an inner face (4) which can be attached to a television tube, and an outer face (5), and at least a first and a second coupling portion (6), (7), extending along the entire main extension path, and having, at the inner face (4), respectively a first and a second flat surface (8), (9) for contact with the television tube. The strip also comprises at least one bending portion (10) inserted between the coupling portions (6), (7), and extending along the entire main extension path to give the band (1) transversal flexibility. The bending portion (10) is thinner than the coupling portions (6), (7), so that the reduced thickness gives the band (1) transversal flexibility. |
