<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that is detachable and extremely easily makes the visual identification of p- and n-type electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The coin-type light emitting device comprises a light-emitting element 10, a metal pedestal 20 for placing the light-emitting element 10, a metal lid body 50 having a window section 51 for emitting light from the light-emitting element 10, an insulating packing 30 for insulating the pedestal 20 from the lid body 50, and a connection tool 40. In the light emitting device, the n-type electrode of the light-emitting element 10 is electrically connected to the pedestal 20 by using a wire 60, the n-type electrode of the light-emitting element 10 is electrically connected, the p-type electrode of the light-emitting element 10 is electrially connected to the connection tool 40, the connection tool 40 is electrically connected to the lid body 50, and the n- and p-type electrodes are taken from the pedestal 20 of the coin-type light emitting device and the lid body 50, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
