<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a thick film resistor to be highly resistant and to adjust it to an arbitrary resistance value. <P>SOLUTION: Glass-making feedstock oxide used as glass-making feedstock is mixed and melted. Ruthenium oxide in an amorphous state is supplied, melted and quenched. Obtained glass for thick film resistor does not include lead, and ruthenium oxide is mixed without deposition. An amount of ruthenium oxide included in glass for thick film resistor is 3 to 15 wt.%. Glass for thick film resistor is mixed with a conductive material and a vehicle, and is made into thick film resistor paste. It is applied onto a substrate and it is baked. Thus, the thick film resistor is formed. The conductive materials are Bi<SB>2</SB>Ru<SB>2</SB>O<SB>7</SB>, BaRuO<SB>3</SB>, CaRuO<SB>3</SB>and SrRuO<SB>3</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
