<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for accurately and efficiently reusing design knowledge available for satisfying a request even when a requester and a designer are different persons. <P>SOLUTION: The cases of requests made in the past are stored, and any matched case is designated for a new subject. Design know-how used in the past is related to each case for realizing the case so that it is possible for a designer to quickly extract and reuse the design know-how of the relating destination.
