PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular transmission which is short in axial length, simple in structure, and capable of smoothly performing the parking lock. SOLUTION: The vehicular transmission comprises an output shaft Cs2 connected to a wheel by a power transmission mechanism, an idle shaft Is disposed parallel to the output shaft Cs2, an input shaft Ms which is disposed parallel to the output shaft Cs2 and the idle shaft Is with the power of a drive source input therein, a first gear CR to be integrally rotated with the output shaft Cs2, a second gear RD which is constantly connected to the first gear CR and disposed on the idle shaft Is, a parking gear P which is disposed on the idle shaft Is and integrally rotated with the second gear RD, and a parking lock mechanism PL to prevent the rotation of the parking gear P.
