PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolayer polycarbonate sheet or film composed of an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition which hardly shows roll contamination during sheet forming, vent-blocking trouble during extrusion and shrinkage after molding, and excellent in ultraviolet absorbability, weatherability, impact resistance, heat resistance, color stability and transparency. SOLUTION: The monolayer polycarbonate sheet or film is formed from a resin composition comprising (a) 100 pts. wt. of a substantially linear aromatic polycarbonate resin, (b) 0.03-0.9 pt. wt. of an ultraviolet absorber having vapor pressure at 25°C of 1×10<SP>-8</SP>Pa or lower, and (c) 0.01-2 pts. wt. of a phosphite stabilizer.
