<p>The thorns in the case of roses have to removed before preparing a flower arrangement and the stems partially sliced for creating a larger area suitable for taking in water and fertilizer. The device is assembled of two elements for gripping the stems of a bunch of flowers provided at their inner surfaces with a blade (1, 3) and a convex section (2, 4) for being pressed against the stems. The device is moved along the stems conveniently cutting off the thorns and slicing the stems.</p> |
