A cylindrical member made from fluororesin, characterized in that it is prepared by stretching a cylindrical article having been made from fluororesin in the axis direction and then thermally fixing the stretched article. The above cylindrical member exhibits a reduced gas permeability and can be used as a tube having a reduced gas permeability and can be used as a piping material for preventing the leakage of a gas and the condensation of dew onto the surface of a pipe, in a chemical supplying line or the like requiring a tube made from fluororesin.
