PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding a resin interior component for a vehicle which can surely insert the terminal part of a decorative member into the channel part of the apparatus when the decorative member is set at a given position and keep the appearance of the terminal part of the interior component molded integrally with the decorative member good and a method for producing the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the apparatus A, the decorative member 20 is arranged in a cavity formed by clamping a first mold B and a second mold C, and the resin J is injected into the cavity and molded integrally with the decorative member 20. The second mold C has an induction block 6 which can move toward the first mold B. A channel 5 is formed between it and the block 6 to be narrowed toward the bottom part.
