PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control processor and a program capable of partially applying reset processing to processing sections related to communication in apparatus. SOLUTION: The communication processor comprising a plurality of communication processing sections 14, 15, 16 hierarchically structured is provided with reset processing sections 11, 12, 13 capable of applying reset processing to the communication processing sections respectively, and adopts a configuration of individually carrying out the reset processing for a required part in response to an external or internal request so that the communication processor can apply the reset processing only to the required part without the need for applying the reset processing to the entire apparatus on the occurrence of a defect inside the apparatus or a system defect so as to bring efficiency to the apparatus or system restoration.
