RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR RADIATOR HOSE AND RADIATOR HOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition suitable for automotive radiator hoses continually subjected to high-frequency microvibrations associated with the high-speed revolution of an engine and used in a condition of allowing microelectric current to flow therethrough. SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of an ethylene-propylene-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and 50-200 pts.wt. of a reinforcing agent. This rubber composition is improved in energization-associated flex resistance and meets the relationship formula (1): R≥3×106×A-0.5957( wherein, R is volume resistivity(Ω×cm); and A is flex frequency resulting in crack propagation ).
