PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a one-pack type hair treating agent reforming the texture of the hair to that of the healthy hair and maintaining the effect. SOLUTION: This hair treating agent contains at least one of a vinylmethylether-ethyl maleate copolymer, a vinylmethylether-butyl maleate copolymer or a polyvinylbutyral and forms a film on the surface of the hair by treating the hair therewith.
