PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bran removing device for an automatic rice cleaning machine which can surely remove bran from cleaned rice to give excellent cleaned rice. SOLUTION: This bran removing device 10 for the automatic rice cleaning machine is constituted by disposing an inner cylinder 14 in an outer cylinder 13, providing a plurality of slits 18 in a peripheral wall 15 of the inner cylinder 14, providing a plurality of projections 19 between the plurality of slits 18 on an inner periphery 15a of the peripheral wall 15 and attaching an injection nozzle 21 composing an air spraying means 20 at an upstream side upper edge 13a of the outer cylinder 13 to remove the bran 17 from the rice 16 by making the rice 16 in the inner cylinder 14 collide with the plurality of projections 19 by air injected from the injection nozzle 21, providing a suction port 24 of a bran suction means 23 disposed at an outer periphery 22 side of the peripheral wall of the outer cylinder 13 to suck the bran 17 removed from the rice 16 via the slits 18.
