PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper pivot supporting part structure capable of enhancing the shock absorbing performance when an external force acts on a windshield. SOLUTION: The wiper pivot supporting part structure is equipped with a cowl top 10 of a vehicle body extending in the vehicle width direction along the lower edge of the windshield 5 and a wiper pivot bracket 20 installed inside the cowl top 10 and joined fast to the cowl top, in which a wiper pivot 22 is supported by the bracket 20, wherein the lower edge of the windshield 5 is supported by a seal flange 31 of the cowl top 10, and the join T between the bracket 20 and the cowl top 10 is positioned apart to the intra-vehicle side from the seal flange 31.
