Foodstuff container (1) comprises a mouthpiece (11) and a hand-operated air pump (17) for introducing foodstuff to the mouthpiece and removing foodstuff from it, and a storage chamber (2) with a closable and/or deformable wall section. The pump has a hollow chamber surrounded by walls. The pump has parts which automatically move into a starting position at the operating end of the pump. Preferred Features: The pump has a one-way valve (19) which is connected with the hollow chamber and the surroundings and is used as an inlet valve. The hollow chamber has an opening which is closed by a finger when the hollow chamber is reduced and is opened when the chamber is increased.
