<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a shutter capable of surely covering a connector fitting part by eliminating a space exposing an inner terminal to the outside after extracting a terminal part of a connection counterpart. <P>SOLUTION: This connector with a shutter is so realized that the shutter 13 is composed of a pair of shutter members 20, 20 disposed outside the connector fitting part 11b and each changeable to a shutter closing position for covering and closing an opening of the fitting part 11b by being moved in lateral directions opposite to each other and a shutter opening position for opening the opening of the fitting part 11b by being evacuated from a position corresponding to the fitting part 11b. Springs 14 for energizing movement of the shutter members 20 are installed so that the shutter members 20 are moved to the shutter closing positions when the terminal part 51 of the connection counterpart is not inserted into the fitting part 11b. When the terminal part 51 of the connection counterpart is inserted into the fitting part 11b, the shutter members 20, 20 are moved against energizing force of the springs 14 in the shutter opening position directions in conjunction with the insertion operation to open the opening of the fitting part 11b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
