PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam which uses a foaming agent causing relatively low environmental problems and has excellent recyclability (environmental compatibility), thermal stability, heat-insulating property, and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: This styrenic resin foam produced by extruding and foaming a styrenic resin is characterized by containing a foaming agent, and hexabromobenzene and/or pentabromotoluene as a halogen-based flame retardant.
