RESIN COMPOSITION FOR SILANE-CROSS-LINKED POLYETHYLENE PIPE AND ITS MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the working obstacle of the method of manufacturing a cross-linked polyethylene pipe by the use of a silane compound, performed widely owing to the ease of cross-linking operation, which problem is characterized by a tendency of causing deteriorated resin owing to high-temperature operation around 200°C in the method having an early stage of producing a resin composition for polyethylene pipes to be used in molding with an extruder. SOLUTION: A resin composition for silane-cross-linked polyethylene pipes containing 0.005-1.0 pt. wt. of a fluorine type lubricant to 100 pts. wt. of polyethylene is used in producing a resin composition for silane cross-linking comprising graft-polymerizing a silane compound on the polyethylene.
