PURPOSE: A composting method of organic wastes is provided to prevent bad smelling in composting and improve composting efficiency by using microbes and swelling agent without the dehydration process of conventional composting. CONSTITUTION: The one or more of microbes for composting organic wastes are selected from bacillus cereus, arcanobacterium haemolyticum, lactobacillus delbrueckiilactis, providencia stuartii, staphylococcus kloosi and vibrio haemolyticus. The composting method comprises the steps of: (i) grinding organic wastes(food wastes); (ii) fermenting food wastes by adding swelling agent such as saw dust, having a volume ratio wastes/swelling agent of 1:0.7-1.5, and 0.01-0.1pts.wt.(based on 100pts.wt. of organic wastes) of microbes(10-400mg/L concentration) to ground wastes under 60deg.C; (iii) drying fermented products over 60deg.C in a rotary fermentor, wherein the temperatures for fermenting (step (ii)) and drying (step (iii)) are controlled by the amount of O2 supplied to the fermentor. The resultant compost is used for house plants and field plants in case that the ammonia content in the compost is less than 10% and less than 35%, respectively. |
