An addition-crosslinking silicone composition comprises at least one organopolysiloxane, at least one organohydropolysiloxane, at least one hydrosilylation catalyst and at least two adhesion promoters. An addition-crosslinking silicone composition comprises at least one organopolysiloxane, at least one organohydropolysiloxane, at least one hydrosilylation catalyst and at least two adhesion promoters. The first adhesion promoter is a multi-nuclear aryl compound having at least one aliphatically unsaturated group or substituent having at least one aliphatically unsaturated group. The second adhesion promoter is an organopolysiloxane having at least one terminal silicon-bonded hydrogen. Independent claims are included for: (1) process for compounding of the composition involving adding the components of the composition; (2) curing the composition involving heating the composition to initiate crosslinking; and (3) preparing a composite material involving coating, adhesive bonding, casting, molding or encapsulating a substrate with the silicone composition and heating.
