A burner unit of a gas range is provided to equally distribute heat of a burner although the intensity of flame or suction power of an exhaust port is changed. A burner unit of a gas range has a U-shaped burner(110) installed at a body of the gas range and positioned adjacently to an exhaust port to which suction power of an exhaust fan is applied. Openings of the burner face each other toward a central line of the body. Plural flame holes(116,118) with different diameters are bored through the whole periphery of the burner. The diameter of the flame holes gets smaller from a first area(A) of the burner farthest from the exhaust port and a second area(B) of the burner parallel to the opening to a third area(C) of the burner adjacent to the exhaust port in order.
