This material is particularly suitable for the reconditioning of motor car bodies that have rusted through, and consists of a fibrous substance impregnated with a plastic material (pref. glass fibre impregnated with cellulose acetate). The plastic is soluble in a solvent. Preferably the plastic-impregnated fibrous material is moistened with the solvent and applied to the damaged part. The plastic is then allowed to harden. |
