<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold ball capable of improving hitting feeling without reducing a high resilience property and extending the carry, by containing two components of ionomer resin and specific diene based rubber and forming the cover with a dynamic linking substance in a specific mixing ratio of both components. SOLUTION: In this golf ball with a core 1 composed of a center 1a and a string rubber layer 1b and a cover 2 with dimples 2a, the cover 2 contains at least two components of ionomer resin and diene based rubber with a part compatible with the ionomer resin. The cover 2 is formed with a dynamic linking substance of a mixture of the ionomer resin and the diene based rubber with a part compatible with the ionomer resin with mixing ratio of 40:60-99:1 by weight. In that case, when the mixing ratio with ionomer resin is lower than this range, the high resilience property of this resin is harmed to reduce the carry, and on the other hand, when higher, hitting feeling is feared to be not improved by strongly appearing the property of this resin.</p> |
