<p>PURPOSE: To laterally arrange eject buttons by engaging connectors through a joint block provided with a spacer for height adjustment and laterally inserting the joint block from the rear side to the fitting sides of connectors in the case of engagement. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the male connector 1, engage guide grooves 1a are respectively formed on upper and lower faces on the left and right sides, an engage guide projection 2a formed on a joint block 2 is guided along this groove 1a, and horizontal positioning guided by a projection 2b is performed to a U-shaped fitting hole 1b. Besides, an engage projection 1c is engaged into an engage hole 2c formed on the joint block 2 and vertical positioning is performed. Then, a latch 3a forming left and right alignment plates 3 for two stages is engaged with a latch 2e formed on the joint block 2. Further, this connector is provided with a metal shield plate 4 for providing an electromagnetic shielding effect on the side of a board mounting terminal.</p> |
