Methods and apparatus for simplified filtering of scan data in an imaging system

The method involves filtering unfiltered scan data for one base view, to generate filtered scan data corresponding to it. A portion of the fully filtered base view scan data is utilised for estimating the fully filtered scan data for subsequent view. Thus, unfiltered HF components of the scan data for subsequent view is identified.
