摘要

An image processor for optical fiber observation which is installed in the system of an optical fiber fusion splicer and used. The image processor for optical fiber observation which can output image signals from TV camera (1) to TV monitor (2), and which processes the images from the TV camera (1) and can output desired information concerning optical fibers (4a) and (4b) projected in the images, is provided with scanning conversion unit (5) which can rotate the images from the TV camera (1) by 90 DEG and output them to the TV monitor (2). Thereby, the images filmed by the TV camera disposed lengthwise can be converted by 90 DEG and projected on the TV monitor disposed widthwise.
