<p>Preparation of a heat hardenable coating used as an adhesive. Process consists of (a) forming a layer of a liquid mixture of (1)anepoxy resin, such as a polyglycidyl ether/ester (2) a heat hardening agent for the resin (3) a plastisol containing, finely dispersed in the platiciser, a vinyl chloride plymer, and (b) heating the layer, suitable at 50-125 degrees C, so that the plastisol gels and the mixture forms a cohesive coting whilst the epoxy resin remains hardenable.</p> |
