<p>The intention of the invention is to design a device for testing tightness and strength of pressure vessels, which can be quickly and simply mounted to a respective mouth (30) of a tested vessel (3). When a required pressure has been established in the interior of this vessel (3), it assures the sealing between the vessel (3) and the device, and after the end of testing it can be quickly and simply separated from the tested vessel (3) again. The device consists of a basic part (1) and a sealing part (2), where the basic part (1) is foreseen to accept the sealing part (2) and to be connected with the remaining components of the whole device for carrying out the pressure test, while the sealing part (2) is foreseen to assure the required sealing between the tested vessel (3) and the device according to the invention during the complete period of duration of the pressure test. The sealing part (2) comprises at least one, essentially a tubular or sleeve flexible gasket (200), mounted over its exterior surface, which is at least at its end areas pressed onto the respective mentioned sealing part (2) along its whole perimeter in a tightly fitting manner, while at least one central area (2001) of the gasket (200) is not mounted to the sealing part (2) and can be deflected from the surface of the said sealing part (2). The sealing part (2) is equipped with hydraulically interconnected means (15, 25, 24) for the supply of additional hydraulic medium into the intermediate space between the surface of the sealing part (2) and the central area (2001) of the gasket (200), which is not mounted to the sealing part (2).</p> |
