Summary of the invention consists in that the process for obtaining of 5(-furostan-3B,22,26-triol-3-[O-(-D-glucopyranosyl(1«2)-(-D-glucopyranosyl(1«4) -(-D-galactopyranosyl]-26-O-(-D-glucopyranoside (pacoverine) includes treatment by boiling of tomato seeds in n-butanol, with subsequent evaporation thereof and washing of the obtained residue with a solution of chloroform and acetone, taken in the ratio of 1:1, filtration, afterwards the residue is repeatedly filter washed with acetone and dried.
