<p>The invention relates to a round electromagnetical chuck plate meant to be used for gripping the work piece on revolving table machine tools, such as vertical axis surface grinders. According to the invention, the electromagnetical chuck plate is made in a module system and comprises a central electromagnetical chuck plate (1) around which there are placed some trapezoidal segments (2) consisting of some sections (A, B and C) whose number may vary depending on the size of the electromagnetical chuck plate to be made, said sections (A, B and C) being joined to each other by means of some screws (18), the joints being sealed with epoxy resins and silicone, and inside of each section (A, B and C) there being placed some small electromagnetical chuck plates (3 and 4) of various sizes, to optimally cover the working surface of the chuck plate, and whose coils (11), perfectly sealed due to the construction of a pole plate (10), are connected in parallel by means of some plug boxes (16) sealed with polyurethane foam and fixed on some vertical ribs (6), inside the sections (A, B and C), they being supplied from three different sources, the supply being made to groups of small electromagnetical chuck plates (3 and 4) forming three circular areas (I, II and III) which can be supplied concomitantly or independently by means of a collector, depending on the size and configuration of the piece to be fixed.</p> |
