PURPOSE: A device for automatically monitoring and controlling injection speed of Ringer's solution for intravenous is provided to automatically monitor and control injection speed of Ringer's solution. CONSTITUTION: The device for automatically monitoring and controlling injection speed of Ringer's solution for intravenous includes a receiving portion of Ringer's solution, a tube, a lower dripping chamber(15), an optical sensor having a light-emitting portion(1) and a light-receiving portion(2), a tube pushing unit(18), and a Micom(16). The device for automatically monitoring injection speed recognizes the mean time measured from the time when the measured voltage gets lower than a critical voltage to the time the measured voltage goes higher than the critical voltage again as the time that the Ringer's solution drop takes to pass the light-receiving sensor.
