PURPOSE: To provide a mold of which inner part is processed in a shape corresponding to an external shape of a casting product so that the casting product is placed in the mold, and which is repeatedly opened and closed in the state that the mold is mounted on a press to remove burr formed on the outer surface of the casting product by generating shearing force, and a burr removal method using the same. CONSTITUTION: A mold(200) for removing burr of casting product(P) comprises an operation die(220) straightly reciprocated up and down with being mounted on an upper part of a hydraulic press for plastic working a work by changing pressure energy of a fluid into straight line motion type mechanical energy; a fixed die(240) which is fixed and mounted on a lower half part of the hydraulic press, on which the work is placed, and which supports the work such that the fixed die transfers mechanical energy to the work; a supporting block(244) and a cutting block(224) respectively installed at one sides of the operation die and the fixed die and united with each other during downward straight line motion of the operation die to cut and remove burr(B) formed on the outer surface of the casting product manufactured by casting; and a separation means(230) that is straight line motioned by hydraulic pressure transferred from a hydraulic pump mounted on the hydraulic press to forcibly drop the casting product inserted into the cutting block from the cutting block.
