摘要 PURPOSE: A system and a method for real-time backup/recovery using the differential backup on a Windows environment are provided to protect the system until the system uses up all empty sectors, and generate no speed decryption during the backup by hooking the minimum, as only the part used on an initial install time point is hooked. CONSTITUTION: An installer(310) sets up information needed for operation by analyzing files and clusters in a computer that a backup program is installed. A Windows device driver(320) performs the backup/recovery of the system by hooking the data read/written from the computer based on the information set in the installer and storing the data in a virtual queue. A DOS(Disk Operating System) system recovery module(330) performs the recovery to the desired time point on a DOS mode before control of the hooked data is turned over to an OS(Operating System) from the BIOS(Basic Input/Output System). A Windows application part(340) displays a directory structure of a previous status, recovers a desired file folder, and monitors the status of the virtual queue by applying the hooked data on the Windows through the GUI(Graphic User Interface).
