The invention relates to a composition for treatment of mammal teats during the dry period.Summary of the invention consists in that the composition contains a film-forming solution of polyblend, wherein the first polymer represents thermoplastic tabletted polyurethane without reactive isocyanate groups, soluble in solvent and the second polymer, representing a hydrophilic poly (N-vinyl lactam). The given blend is water-resistant and during interaction with the water, at the topical application onto the mammal's skin, significant losses of hydrophilic poly (N-vinyl lactam) are not produced, since its quantity is sufficient for the formation of an elastic water-resistant film. The composition includes from 10 up to 80 wt% of the first polymer with the dermatologically accepted solvent and from 1 up to 15 wt% of the second polymer. A process for utilization of the given composition is also claimed consisting in its application on the mammal's teats, evaporation of the solvent with the formation of an elastic water-resistant film, which is removed by peeling.
